At 16:55 on Sunday June 6, 2021 the Nesconset Fire Department responded to a report of a subject with their hand stuck in a retractable hose reel on Bri Court. The initial arriving units located the subject in the rear of the property and whose hand became stuck in the reel as the hose was winding inside. Cutting snips were used to cut apart the plastic housing and the subject was able to pull his hand out from the reel without any injury. Engine 4-4-2 and Ambulance Medic-45 operated under the command of Chief AJ Anderson and cleared from the scene at 18:13.
