| At 19:41 on Sunday, September 16, 2022 the Nesconset Fire Department responded to a report of multiple vehicles on fire to the rear of the BMW dealership on Middle Country Road in St. James.
Initial arriving units reported 3 cars on fire. Engine 4-4-1 arrived on scene first and stretched a hose line and started the fire suppression. Second due engine 4-4-2 established a water supply and stretched a second hose line. Heavy Rescue 4-4-9 assisted with traffic safety and securing the scene. EMS First Responder 4-4-80 and Ambulance 4-4-6B were on scene on standby to aid in the event of injuries.
All units operated under the command of Chief Frank Ragona and cleared from the scene at 21:22.
