0352 hours. The Nesconset Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 128 Montclair Avenue, north of Middle Country Road. Units arrived and advised off an active fire win a two story wood frame structure. Multiple hand lines were stretched while mutual aid was requested from the Saint James, Ronkonkoma, Smithtown and Hauppauge Fire Departments. Hand lines were advanced into the house and crews were able to hold the fire to the garage and a room above it.

No injuries were reported and the Smithtown Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause.
