Nesconset Fire Department responded to an automobile accident involving an overturned vehicle heavy rescue with reported entrapment at the intersection of Browns Road and Route 347 at around 8:19 am. Under the command of Assistant Chief John Martins the crew put the spreaders and cutters into operation to extricate the driver. The driver was transported to Stony Brook Hospital.
