At 1:06 AM on Saturday May 20, 2023 the Nesconset Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Laurelton Avenue and Saint James Parkway.

Two vehicles stuck each other and one left the roadway and struck a utility pole at that location. First Responder 4-4-80 and Ambulance 4-4-6A responded and rendered patient care to one of the drivers of the vehicles. Heavy Rescue 4-4-9 responded and secured the vehicles and the scene.

All units operated under the command of Captain Joseph Capogna and returned to station at 1:58 AM
