MVA 347 and 25

Nesconset Fire Department was dispatched for at Motor Vehicle Accident at 4:43 in the morning Monday, April 26, 2004.  Chiefs arrived on scene to find a garbage truck, 18 wheel dump truck (with it's trailer overturned) and Corvette involved.  The Fire Department responded with all Chiefs, two Advanced Support Ambulances, EMS First Responder, Heavy Rescue and Rescue Engine under the command of Chief of Department Kevin Zanfardino.  Smithtown Fire Dept. responded with a third ambulance.  All occupants were transported by the Ambulances on scene.  Fire Crews assisted EMS in patient care and worked to contain a fuel spill with Suffolk County Police Emergency Services Units.  New York State DOT Sander and Environmental Protection was requested.  Fire Department units were released from the scene at 5:42am with Suffolk Police remaining on scene
