James Savastano joined the Nesconset Fire Department in 8/2003. He became a member of Ladder Company 2. James became Lieutenant in 2012 and was Lieutenant till 2014. Then he became Captain for 2014. He was elected to 3rd Assistant chief in 2015 for which he held that position for 3 years before moving up to 2nd Assistant chief in 2018. James has retired to Florida to take care of his family down there. We wish him the best!
