Nesconset Fire Department was activated from motor vehicle accident heavy rescue, located on Nesconset Hwy. and Southern Blvd. around 6:18 am. The driver was quickly extricated by removing the door and transported to Stony Brook Hospital with non-life threatening injuries via a Nesconset ambulance.
