Nesconset and St. James Fire Department, honored Ex-Chief and a 48 year member Ross Huffer of the Nesconset, and Ex-Captain and a 42 year member Richie Weiss of St. James. A mass was held at the St. James Methodist Church. Both Ex-Chief Huffer and Ex-Captain Weiss are being honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, Emmitsburg MD. on Sunday October 4, 2015
