Nesconset Fire Dept was dispatched to a report of a structure fire across from 422 Lake Avenue South. Dispatchers advised they were receiving multiple calls.
On arrival, Asst. Chief Wichtendahl advised of a working garage fire.
Under the command of Chief of Department AJ Anderson, the fire was brought under control.
Engines 4-4-2, 4-4-5, 4-4-3, Ladder 4-4-7, Fire Police 4-4-10, Ambulance 4-4-6A and First Responder 4-4-80 were on scene.
Mutual Aid was provided by Hauppauge, Ronkonkoma, St James and Lakeland Fire Departments.
Two firefighters were treated and released from University Hospital.
