At 01:23 Hours the Nesconset Fire Department was activated for a signal 14 in the vicinity of Lake Avenue south and Middle Country Road in St. James. A fully involved automobile fire was found to the rear of Subway/TCBY on Middle Country Road adjacent to the rear of the structure. Engine 4-4-3 operated with an 1-3/4" attack line and the booster reel utilizing the crew from Engine 4-4-2. The vinyl siding on the rear of the structure suffered minor damage from the radiant heat. All units operated under the command of 4-4-31 until units returned to quarters at 02:00.
